Cu doua perechi de chiloti, pasaport in regula si multi bani, toate usile ti se deschid in orasul vesnic luminat, orasul care nu doarme niciodata si totusi nu e incercanat, orasul care freamata la orice ora ca un stomac plin si deranjat – Las Veeeegas!(Pun pariu ca numele orasului provine de la o pereche de surori de origine mexicana fina, care cheltuiau fortuna familiei Vegas la turneele de poker )

Pentru impatimitii fine dining, anunt cu mandrie deschiderea unui nou restaurant Twist by Pierre Gagnaire unde in alta parte decat in interiorul Mandarin Oriental din Vegas, la un umil etaj 23???(wow) Delicatesele culinare se imbina armonios cu modernitatea localului si inventivitatea chef-ului cu trei stele Michelin. Ai pofta de un lobster? Sau fillet mignon? Osetra caviar? Dar ce zici de o inghetata caramel-scortisoara? Salata de mango sau marmelada de mandarin? Gnam gnam la nivel de gustat, nu saturat, asa cum ne-a obisnuit rafinata bucatarie frantuzeasca..

Si cum stiu ca toooooooooooti si cand spun toti, inseamna chiar toti cititorii mei au stat in fiecare Mandarin Oriental plantat in cele mai inn locatii din lume, m-am simtit obligata civic sa va informez ca data viitoare cand ajungeti in Barcelona, uitati hotelurile pentru cei putini, Mandarin Oriental va ofera la numai cativa dolari in plus (you wish!), o sedere catalana de exceptie.
